Chad Grochowski is a Professional Cinematographer and Director who has been telling stories in motion pictures for over 10 years. With expertise in all variants of high definition video and a keen eye for light and color, Chad can deliver a look and feel that best suits each project whether for mobile, broadcast or traditional cinema. Joachim Czogalla, Cameraman

 

Joachim Czogallais a professionallightingcameraman and Steadicamoperatorfrom Germany, basedsince 2005 in Shanghai. He has worked as a magazinephotographer and since 1996 as DOP/camera and Steadicamoperator in a widerange of fields, coveringnewsreports, commercials, documentaries (for ARD, ARTE, BBC, CBC, National Geographic, RTL, 3SAT, ZDF) as well as shortfeaturefilms. He has worked in locations all overtheworld, and has participated in such ambitiousprojects as thedocumentaryaboutthe Peace Nobel Prizeawarded UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan for ARD (German firstpublicchannel. His work has beenpart of exhibitions of the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn and ispart of installations in the permanent collection of the Modern Design Museum of Nuernberg (Germany).

Aled Stephens, Director/Cameraman/Lighting

 

Aled Stephens is an experienced Director/Cameraman/Lighting Expert now based in Shanghai and Toronto. Born in the UK, he studied Photography before moving to Paris where he pursued his personal research into photography and the visual arts. This in turn took him to North America where he has worked for more than 15 years. Having a background based in 35mm film commercials, specialing in product and slow motion food cinematography, he has the knowledge and eye for using the attention to detail required on both small and large budget projects. Recent projects include global documentary features for the Discovery International Network where he supplies technical direction as well as in the field creative. Cloud Wang, Sound Recordist

 

Cloud Wang, is a professional sound recordist based in Shanghai. He graduated from Zhejiang University of Media and Communications, and joined Shanghai Television's Documentary Channel where he worked for half a year. Since then he worked independently on a variety of both Chinese and foreign TV shows, as well as different corporate and documentary projects. He has collaborated with Kaimu Productions a number of times and has through them provided sound for such foreign networks as National Geographic and ARD. His sound recording experience can help you work out what you need in the production field.

Antje Bonhage, Journalist/ Sound Specialist

 

Born in Germany, Antje Bonhage studied Chinese language, culture and history in Berlin, Beijing and Paris and trained as a journalist in the German School for Print, Radio and TV Journalism. She subsequently spent two years at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing working on a research project on modern Chinese theatre that involved the translation of two theatre plays from Chinese into German and French. Since 1994, Antje has worked as a free-lance audio journalist and has produced many long and short audio documentaries for German Public Radio stations, including stories about orphans in Sichuan's Tibetan autonomous region and changing traditional architecture in rural Guizhou province. Antje currently runs a company called Bonhage Media, based in Berlin and specialising in China-related radio documentaries (accessible at www.bonhage-media.com). She is one of Kaimu Production's valued production partners.
