At the height of sweltering summer, a crew from Ten Alps Television came to Shanghai to film the final leg of its successful travel series, 'The Real....', for BBC World. Kaimu arranged for three local celebrities to show the crew around, giving them an insiders' view of the city. Our celebrities were footballer Xie Hui, grand-daughter of the Father of Modern China Sun Yat-sen, Nora Sun, and art collector and gallery owner, Pearl Lam. Locations visited included Bar Rouge, Shanghai Tang restaurant, Shanghai Historical Museum, Tianzifang, Caojiadu Flower Market, Rock Bund Art Museum as well as views from the outside deck at the top of the world's highest observation tower. All went well despite some impressive thunderstorms and a very tired crew.
