In June 2009, Kaimu Productions worked with Beijing-based Ten Eighty Productions and London-based FBC Media to produce the Shanghai episode of a six part series on 'The New Silk Road' for Italian channel La7. In search of the rich and famous, the show criss-crossed the city showcasing the city's best hotspots at Xintiandi, the Bund and Lujiazui. Featured were the glamorous lives of TV personality and entrepreneur Yue-sai, and the young bar and art gallery owner David Zhou. For a simultaneous shoot for CNBC's 'World Business' program, host Alan Friedman interviewed one of China's richest and most successful business men, fashion label Metersbonwe founder, Mr. Zhou Chengjian, and the head of the Shanghai Expo Media Centre, Mr. Xu Wei.
