In April 2009, Kaimu Productions once again visited the Three Gorges Dam project, this time with a crew from Windfall Films filming an in-depth program on super-sized dams for National Geographic's long running 'Big, Bigger, Biggest' series. This visit marked the culmination of many months of arbitration to gain extra-ordinary access to the inner workings of the dam and to obtain substantial support from the Three Gorges Project authorities in the form of detailed technical information and extensive archive material. Once again the dam proved to be extremely impressive in scale and stature and the shoot went well despite some inclement weather.
