Shanghai is the base for most of our shooting. Shown here are photos taken mainly from Lion Television's 'China Atlas' program for Discovery Channel, part of which was filmed in Shanghai during March/April 2005.
As the Shanghai-based fixer/researcher, Kim Taylor was responsible for finding and securing a cosmetic surgery patient who wished to improve her looks mainly to enhance her career prospects. Kim Taylor then assisted in filming the operation and in conducting interviews with the patient, her family and the doctors. She also organised separate shoots of a scooter drive around down-town Xujiahui, early morning taijiquan on the Bund with a group of around fifty people all in traditional dress, a Chinese medical consultancy with a specialist doctor on Chinese beauty therapy in famous Yuyuan clinic as well as an evening rush hour shoot. |
